There is a particular sweetness to late summer in Le Marche.
The fig trees begin to give generously, their branches heavy with fruit in shades of green, violet and soft amber. We pick them when they are perfectly ripe — warm from the sun, delicate and impossibly sweet.
At Casa Dolci Rodolfo, these small moments are part of the rhythm of the house. A basket of freshly picked figs. A quiet morning in the garden. Coffee enjoyed slowly, with no particular reason to hurry.
It is the kind of luxury we value most here: simple, local and unhurried.
And perhaps that is what makes an Italian summer so memorable — not the grand moments, but the taste of something picked from the garden and enjoyed exactly where it grew.
Late summer, in its simplest form.
